IPMI ​

IPMI 协议为平台管理子系统定义了标准化、抽象化的接口。IPMI 包括对接口的定义，用于在主机箱内的板卡之间，以及多个机箱之间扩展平台管理。

IPMI 的主要特性包括：

• IPMI 将 System Management Software 与平台管理 Hardware 隔离开来
• IPMI 具有可扩展性。IPMI 实现可以清晰且快速地扩展新功能，例如添加 additional sensors、management controllers 或 FRU inventory devices。
• IPMI 允许实现者将其 IPMI 实现“插入”到标准 System Management Software (SMS) 模块中。
